This is one of my big goals for the year. To grow an annual herb garden here will require some cold frames and hoop housing over our raised boxes. The herb garden will be separated from our vegetable garden this year, but will include all of our lettuce and a few other partial light favoring plants.
The herbs will be included in tinctures, salves, soaps, creams, etc. to me used medicinally. We try to avoid antibiotics and other synthetic drugs as much as possible. I hope to make the herb garden in to my little sanctuary and to learn from it as much as possible!
